The New Stairlift arrives – on Tuesday 29th May

In 1998 Margaret Gregson kindly donated the wheelchair stair-lift by the doorway to Greyfriars Hall.  After 20 years hard labour making the whole ground floor accessible to all our visitors it has been difficult to find spare parts to keep it going.  We are very grateful that we can replace it through the generosity of the T H Russell Charitable Trust.

The new lift is going to be installed on Tuesday 29 May.  Access to the Coffee Lounge, Hilary Christy Room and the upper floors of the House will be through the Fire Exit door at the top of the stone steps while the work is being carried out.
