TAI CHI – You won’t know how nice it is until you try it!
Jane and Patrick Foley from Longwater Tai Chi are excited to welcome you to their fun-to-follow exercise class at Greyfriars, based on the natural rhythms of sea and sky.
‘Relaxation Tai Chi – Waves and Clouds’, 60 minute sessions are held on Tuesdays starting at 1pm. The ‘drop-in’ format allows you to progress without commitment to weekly attendance. If you come during a lunch-break and need to arrive late or leave early this is no problem. Tai Chi teaches you how it is possible to achieve vibrant health and assist healing through correct body alignments and relaxing, low-impact movements.
Just come along one Tuesday and give it a try. £6 per session.
TAI CHI and TEA Tuesday 17th January at 2pm
Jane and Patrick of Longwater Tai Chi invite you to a FREE talk and demo and a cup of tea on Tuesday 17th January at 2pm in the Ann Rose Room (straight after their regular weekly class at Greyfriars)
Many people have no idea what tai chi is, why doctors have started recommending it, or how enjoyable and nourishing the slow, fluid movements can be for balance of body and mind. So please come along and find out more, and how it can be adapted to suit everyone. You might like to try something new in 2017. The talk will include a short, optional taster for people to try out some movements, either seated or standing. No need to book, just come along. We aim to finish by 2.45pm.
