This Autumn’s 1000 Book Sale on Saturday 20th October was really well attended and raised a record £315.60 for Greyfriars.
Browsers were treated to wide choice of books, non fiction and fiction, hard and paperback alike and Ann Rose Hall was buzzing with activity for the morning as Bric-a brac and Grand Draw tickets were also sold in the foyer.
Donations of books are always very welcome and can be dropped into Greyfriars at any time , using the donations box in the Bookshop.
We would like to say a huge thank you to those who came and supported the sale but also Phil, Peter and their team of Bookshop Volunteers who gave and continue to give, endless hours of time sorting and organising the books prior to the sale and throughout the year.
