November 10th 1-4pm
Come and enjoy a fermented workshop dedicated to making fermented beverages and condiments, including:
- Kombucha
- Water kefir
- Pickles/relishes/salsa
- Shalgam suyu
- Beet Kvass
There will be fermented foods and drinks to sample on the day. Part of the workshop will be demonstration and part will be practical work.
Each attendee will have starter culture to take home to start their own ferments.
This will be shared workshop so you will be sharing work space with other attendees. Each attendee will need to bring the following:
3 liter capacity glass jar, washed and sterile a kilner type is ideal with a tight fitting lid
One 300ml capacity sterile glass jar with fitting lid
One 300ml capacity sterile glass jar with fitting lid
This will be a hands on workshop so please come accordingly. An apron may be needed.
