Fabulous food and fine music at the Greyfriars Jubilee Lunch.
The Last 60th Anniversary Event…
Sixty two people got together last Saturday and enjoyed a delicious menu of smoked salmon pate, venison casserole and lemon cheesecake for the last of a series of year long celebrations…the Jubilee Lunch.
They were entertained by the beautiful voices of Scarlet Swing and enjoyed an afternoon of friendship, fun and delicious food.
The bar was kindly staffed by Janet and Adrian Dolby and lunch was prepared by Brenda Titt and the team of wonderful cooks who make up the Greyfriars’ Special Events team. Volunteers from Greyfriars spent the morning decorating tables and making Greyfriars hall into a real focus for celebration.
Thank you to everyone who did their bit, large or small, to make the event such a super occasion.
