Hillview Art Festival Weekend 16th & 17th November!

The Ringwood Twinning Association Quiz Night has now been postponed. A new date is to be confirmed so please keep an eye on our socials or website.

A huge thank you to Ken and the team at #ringwoodfishbar for providing a community fish and chip lunch for our regular minibus shopping trip passengers! What a an awesome, generous and kind gesture this was! Thank you all once again!

Paella on the Lawn at Greyfriars #2 Sunday 29 September 2024 Paella Service between 12.30pm-2.30pm Live Music with Baldy & Friends from 1pm-3.30pm We are SO excited that @idelica_paella have decided to come back and do another Paella on the lawn 😍 It was an absolute success last time, so let's make the most of the last few summer days before Autumn sets in. Bring along friends and family for a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday lunch! We cant wait to see you there.

Carnival 2024!! Live on the Lawn 😍 Here are our gallery of wonderful pictures, taken by the very talented Pam Brown! Thank you Pam, as always they are beautiful photos! Well well well, What a day! The biggest thank you goes to Ringwood Carnival Chairman, Ben Salsbury, for his unwavering support of Greyfriars and commitment to Ringwood. Special thanks to Jacqui, Amanda and Megan for their organisation and creativity in the lead up and on the day. Thank you to our wonderful centre manager, Claire. A HUGE thank you to all our Greyfriars volunteers and staff for helping us manage the setup, centre, stalls and tidy up. A thank you and BIG well done to Julie Lax on putting together a spectacular bar at the front of Greyfriars. You kept everyone well hydrated! A special thank you to our entertainers and acts. You were magic, as always. Thank you to Ringwood Mens Shed for our photo wall. Thank you to everyone who donated a cake, teddy or tombola item. And thank YOU. Anyone who shows us support, no matter how big or small. We appreciate you. You are the reason we are still here, serving our wonderful community!

This Saturday, October 26 at 7pm…. The wonderful Bourne2Sing Male Voice Choir will be performing a series of easy listening numbers, with the chance to sing along or just sit back and immerse yourself in their wonderful vocals. They are kindly doing this as a fundraiser for RACE, with all proceeds going to projects in the area such as the Community Fridge, our pollinator friendly planting, the enhancement of our public open space - Jack Wright Field, teaching sewing skills and the funding of renewable energy sources for some of our community buildings. Songs include well know tunes such as: Bridge over Troubled Water, Always on my Mind, Wonderful World, Sweet Caroline, The Rose and My Way Location Trinity United Church Christchurch Road, Ringwood, BH24 1DH United Kingdom Parking for Trinity Church is avaliable via Quomp BH241NS. If you park in the Church car park you must enter your registration number. We will explain how to do this. Please enter Quomp from Mansfield Road (B3347). Further parking is available in Blynkbonnie Public Car Park (free after 6pm)

Medical Information Lecture Sunday 6th October 12Noon. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.

Come on down to Greyfriars! We’ve got music until 7PM. Currently Lewis Simons Music is doing his thing until 5:30pm! And then we’ve got Matt Black Piano Man! 🎸

Lois bibbins music is serenading us into the first procession! And some transformers might be making an appearance at 1:30pm… come on down and help us raise some all important funds for Ringwood Carnival and our wonderful Greyfriars Community Centre 😊 We’ve got a huge beer tent out the front, you’ll be hydrated in this beautiful sunshine. ☀️ Dogs, kids and all ages welcome!

Bakers!!! We NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE ‼️ We aren’t sure there have been enough cake donations for the Carnival Live on the Lawn event we are holding tomorrow ☹️ Please can you spare the time to help us. Any yummy treats would be appreciated but we do need to know about allergens used, such as nuts. So if you have time to grab those whisks please do let us know. We would be so very grateful 🙏

Ringwood Garden Club start their Autumn programme of talks on Thursday 19th September at 7pm with MY GARDEN, MY PLANTS by Michael Bowyer, an International Judge of flower arranging. 

Our first-afternoon meeting is October 3rd at 2pm with a talk from Lyn Dupont, RIGHT PLANT, RIGHT PLACE.

There are over 100 International Youth Camps operating around the world each year.  Whilst each young person had to arrange their own travel and spending money, their food and accommodation whilst abroad will be met by Lions operating in the country they choose to visit. We welcome applications from anyone aged 16-22 who lives, works, or attends school/college in the Ringwood & Fordingbridge area. The closing date is 1 November 2024.
