Good afternoon all,

Following yesterday’s  government updates, we wish to advise you again of our current advice with regards to visiting the Centre. (From NHS guidelines)

Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.

Please do let us know if you have been in contact with anyone who has the Coronavirus or have been in contact with someone who has.

21st March – As a result of this advice and the perceived risk to our elderly Centre users, we are cancelling our Book Sale and Brunch. We are due to have another Book Sale & Brunch  sale on the 11Th July and we hope that you will come along to our next one.

28th March – Bubbles, Beer & Bingo. We have decided to postpone this event, actually as we have only sold 5 tickets. However, we do feel that, although we could encourage our friends and family to support this event, again under current circumstances it would best to postpone it.

Do look out for more updates by email, on our Facebook page and notices in the Centre as we hear more.

In the meantime, please do take care and take precautions to stay safe.

Thank you.

Claire, Anne & Sam and our Executive Committee
