What is the Worker’s Educational Association (WEA)?
WEA is a national organisation founded in 1903 to provide an opportunity for working men and women to enjoy further education.
WEA is a registered charity with no political or religious ties and is supported by government funding.
W.E.A. is a voluntary, democratic organisation run by and for its’ students. The thriving Ringwood branch, set up in 1953, offers traditional subjects such as Art, Music, History, Literacy and Archaeology, in varied programme of courses and day schools at Greyfriars each year.
