The GREYFRIARS BOOKSTALL will again be on the patio this summer on WEDNESDAY mornings from 8.30 to noon (WEATHER PERMITTING) May to September inclusive. Donations of books, videos and other literary material are welcome and may be left at the office or with the caretakers. All proceeds go towards maintenance of the Centre. 1st Poulner Scout Group Multi-Activity Fundraising Day
Our annual fundraising event is being held on Sunday 4th July 2010 from 12 noon at Blunts Barn, Furzehill, South Gorley (follow the signs from A338 at Ibsley) and offers archery, rifle shooting, 300 foot zipwire, campfire cooking, giant slippy slide, swimming, pre-school creche area, barbq, golf, tractor driving, ropes course and zorbing! This is always a wonderful day for all the family and we look forward to seeing you there

CHaOS - Cambridge Hands-On Science
is a student group from Cambridge University that believes Science is FUN and relevant to all!
Come along to Greyfriars Hall, and the lawn if the weather is good, to take part in a day of hands-on experiments. Meet the expert student scientists and find the answers to all those questions you have about the world around you. Discover why hot air balloons fly, meet Boris the friendly skeleton and much much more…
For all children from 8-108 (Younger siblings are welcome too. All children must be accompanied by an adult please) All CHaOS events are absolutely FREE
Every one is welcome, just drop in any time between 12.00 and 5.00pm. There's no need to book in advance, although in busy periods timed tickets may by issued for later in the day (we might run out of tickets before the end of the day, so get here early to avoid disappointment).
