Ringwood Old People's Welfare Committee (affiliated to Age Concern) is an umbrella body bringing together representatives of some 20 or so local organisations whose aims wholly or partly include the welfare of the elderly in the district. By regularly sharing up-to-date information from the individual bodies, ideas can be pooled, gaps filled, initiatives positively encouraged and duplication avoided. Funds are obtained from legacies, donations etc. and are spent on grants to special initiatives and to support any project which will enhance the quality of life for our senior citizens.
